Need to replace my battery cables
I was working under the hood today and noticed that the positive post on my battery was COATED in battery acid dust/corrosion/whatever you want to call it.
Then I noticed that the positive battery cable was split about two inches from the terminal. (!!!) I can't seem to find a direct replacement from the usual sources (Advance, Auto Zone, etc.) Rock auto had one, but it said it was for automatic trannies only. (?) Where would I find a direct replacement cable? And If not, what would be the best route to go about to replace it with the prepackaged cable they sell at Advance Auto? |

They can be as much as $140 at the dealer if I am not mistaken....
you could always check your local junk yard and see if you can find a decent donor.... |

Remember to be liberal with the dielectric grease too!
