I remember they did this on Mythbusters, think about it; if you push a shopping cart a lot of people touched it, same for gas pumps, and etc. Then you get in the car and all of the bacteria goes right to the steering wheel.

Here's another great product idea: make those contour grips at 10 and 2 on the steering wheel little bulbs full of hand sanitizer. Squeeze and it comes out through the perforated leather. Covers the most used spots immediately, and it's pretty easy to wipe the whole wheel down as you go around turns. (And of course Ford recommends that you refill only with genuine Motorcraft fluids -- a whole new revenue source.)

Ideas; I got a million of 'em. I don't know why SVT doesn't hire me.

That shit that's all over the key: it's all over the wheel too! It's the same crud... it makes me wish I had gloves on when I drive one after just taking a set off!

I wash my hands before getting in my car most on the time. Don't want any dust on my leather wrapped steering wheel. Clean and vacuum the interior of the car once a week and go to the car wash one a week or 2 weeks.
