Will the Duratec 2.0 handle a turbo and last?

I have a 2010 Focus, will the 2.0 Duratech last if i installed a turbo, if so how much boost will it handle? Also I would like to know if you can put a turbo on a automatic car.

with the fswerks kit , it should last 100K+ as long as you maintain it.

most likely a shift kit if one is available.

also i have a question of my own pertaining to this topic but mine isn't exactly engine related. mine is will the stock open diff be good to handle a boosted D20?

you can run the stage 1 FSWerks kit on your ATX. 8psi is what you can safely run. I've had the FSWerks kit for over year with no problems at all. Just check all your hoses and clamps every oil change.
