DIY for Hu removal in my 07 Focus?
What the title says. I did a search but I would imagine I used the wrong words and I came up with nothing/nada/zilch.

It's easy, just pop off the trim piece around it with a screwdriver, it just uses pop in clips, then there are 2 bolts on each side of the HU near the back of it, then as you pull it out you'll need to disconnect the radio antenna wire (thick round one, unplugs) and the harness which will have a small tab to press in to free the harness.
You may also need to disconnect the 12v, it just has a basic clip like the radio harness.

I know very little about car electronics, and I was able to install a new stereo with the help of my dad with very little issue. It's not too hard :)

Not worried about hook up. Just wondering how it comes out. I just want to do an Aux jack to it.
