Wow, I would have thought it to be more complex to add cruise control to the car.

On a side note, SYNC is awesome. It wasn't on my priorities list but it just so happened the car I zero'd in on had it. It's really convienent! lol. If you paid 14k for a 3+ year old focus I hope it had really low miles and/or a really good warranty!

You'd be surprised what thye are going for used! That's how I ended up with a new one ... I wanted used but couldn't find anything less than 4 years old for LESS than a new one ...

Even if you go to the junk yard and try and remove the sync system, that is impossible. the wiring is all part of the whole dash harness. and there are wires that go up to the mirror for the mic etc. To much work to try and install.
