new fogs , with pics and a question.

ok so here are the pics of the new pieces next to the old .





a very noticeable improvement huh .

but what id like to know is , does it make a difference in light throw to have a flat projector bowl because the new ones do , on the old lights the projector bowl was kinda criss-cross shaped . looked a lil different .

In the pics they look the same except for the grit blasted lenses....

yea lol it makes it really hard to see in there , but the bowls are different . ill put a closer pic in a few minutes as long as the camera can see into it

also i have another question , about whats on the backs of the new lights.

seen here in this pic ( new on left , old on right )


ok so look at the new light , just below and to the right of the bulb is a little hose looking thingy , what are they for , cause the old lights didn't have those as you can see .

Yes the reflector shape will alter the light output/pattern some. How much I can't say. But fog's aren't really meant for anything these days other than appearance.


The little rubber hose is a moisture vent. That way if water gets inside it has a path to evaporate out ... or, it has a path to enter the lights.

good stuff , thanks for the input . hopefully these lights work out ok for me , i replaced both the heads and fogs with eagly eye brand . no idea what their rep is but the lights look damn good .
