CFM Power Steering Hose Relocation
what exactly is that it connects to on the existing ps line? i need a new pressure hose, as the one i had on the car exploded from the svt header as i have a zx3 with the header swap can you let me know asap thanks. and i know about the ordering thing till monday stuff as well im not worried about that either!

Sorry to hear it blew on you. Did you wrap your header or ps line or both?
Planning to do this swap myself early next year and am considering getting this. Would like to also know exactly how this connects and to where.

I had the header wrapped and the line was not other then the foil on the stock piece...the swap itself was mehh...moderate to hard cause i wanted everything special lol. I didnt really heed to everyones warning when they said change the power steering line, now im regreting it as its now broken.

You would want to look at Page 16/36 which shows what you will need to do to modify the power steering line.

you mean when i buy it and look at page 16/36 is what your saying...yea well i like knowing how it works prior to buy it...not trying to sound like a dink but i like to know before hand. does it connect to the pump then run behind the motor to the rack and pinion pump hose?

You have to cut the ps line in the 2 locations mentioned so you can attach the compression fittings on this replacement to the ps line from what I could tell.

well where my line blew out there really isnt much room for error near the pump if i have to cut the old one in 2 places and piece in this hose...i have another thread going in the tech section on this exact thing i guess we can move the convo over there..seeing how it takes so long for someone from CFM to respond...

you can do what i did. i cut it where it wraos over the transmission and ran a braided steel line with -6an fittings on each side with compression fitting for hard line as well. costed me bout 50 bux and it runs underneath the radiator so its allways cool fluid
