Basic K&N filter

Hi Everyone

Just purchased a 2012 titanium hatchback which I will pick up next week and drive home to Canada eh!!

Titanium filter..haven't seen the filter yet..Is the standard filter just a flay square standard filter..If so will I see any performance difference if I replace this stock filter with a K&N filter. I'm not talking CAI etc, just filter for filter..In other words is it worth it to spend the money

Cheers
Al

There's been lots of discussion about this--search is your friend.

To answer in short: the stock filter is cylindrical, the K&N replacement is part #E-2993, and the consensus is that it improves hesitation and drive-ability.
