Is anyone planning to get a WP8 device?

I'm seriously considering that or an Android 4.2 device.

After "upgrading" to iOS6 my iPhone has a myriad of problems. Of course the Apple Maps fiasco, and now the latest is I lose my Bookmarks and the ability to add bookmarks. The phone has to be reset to restore, but it's getting tiring!

Even though MFT and WP are both Microsoft products , I suspect Android would play better with MFT. Any thoughts? Thanks!!!

I had many issues with my tranny early on, but after a couple of visits to the dealer it has worked great since then. I spent a lot of time on the FF tranny thread before it was fixed.

Even though MFT and WP are both Microsoft products , I suspect Android would play better with MFT. Any thoughts?

The Ford rep mentioned that the forthcoming update should help with the MFT (Microsoft)/iPhone (Apple) compatibility, so the Droid may work better with the current MFT system.

Thanks. I really like the Metro interface on the WP products, and some of the Nokia products look pretty nice.

I'll wait for some feedback on how compatible WP is with MFT.

Keep in mind compatibility between WP7 and WP8 phones will be different, i.e. if WP7 phones work WP8 aren't guaranteed to; WP8 is built on the same kernel as Win8 for PCs, not the WinCE mobile interface WP7 is built on.

Also, MFT is not MS's product, MS has just helped to "fix" it. It was B-Squared who did all the original coding.

I also have to agree about iOS6. I took the bait and bought an iPhone 5... kicking myself for it now. iOS6 is bad enough on 4/4S... it's worse on the 5. I have hang ups, freeze ups, lag galore, lock screen/wake up issues, alert sound issues, and of course there's maps. I'm looking into the Lumia 920 WP8 phone. Just dropped my MacBook for a Win8 Ultrabook, so why not switch it all.

BlackBerry Bold 9900 works with MFT. All features as far as I can tell work without problem. This includes:

-Streaming media from pandora, slacker or directly from memory
-Bluetooth phone calls
-phonebook download with pictures
-text messages are read aloud and able to compose pre-canned messages

Seriously though, are you talking about iOS6/phone issues in general or iOS6/MFT issues? Now that I've had a little over a month with iOS6 and MFT the only thing I noticed that changed is that streaming BT is a little more reliable at updating the track name/artist info. Only a little more, it can still get tripped up pretty easily. Other than that, everything else seems the same for me as far as its interaction with MFT. No better, no worse.

I never use the map feature on my phone to begin with anymore but I did have to go into Apple maps and poke around after everything I read about it. Wow, it is pretty funny (in a pathetic way).
