Styling Dilema: Pillars and Grille

I never liked the chrome pillars and I hate the pinstripping too. I always forget to take it off.

So I guess for the front should I so black grille or chrome grille an if black I think I want it oem because plastidip doesn't seen to look the same...opinions

My opinion is get the headlights installed first and see how you like it. Considering the rest of the chrome on your car, a chrome grill may not look too bad but you won't really know until you can stand back and stare at your car for a while.

That was my plan too. I drove around the other day just looking at cars with darker headlights and how the OEM grilles looked and a lot had chrome grilles or no grilles at all and the only ones I seemed to have found with the darker grilles were the second generation focus. So maybe I will like it with chrome otherwise I guess pay $50 for the darker grille.

Have you thought about painting your existing grille? It's easy to do if you take the time to do it right.

Yes I have but others I have seen didn't seem to look right to me. I want it to look exactly like the oem one

If you are going to get the black projectors I suggest the black grille in some form or another, I went that route once I had my hood installed. The lines up front just don't flow right with the black headlights and the silver grille. Also gonna say the chrome side moldings is a bit much, then again I hate chrome on second gens, did my best to ditch as much as possible....

I do agree about the grille and I wont get any more chrome.
