OK so I ordered head from headsonly and put it in today put it all together, and white smoking so I gave it the benefit of doubt and ran it just to make sure it wasnt coolant in the muffler. You definitely should take it to a shop at this point - although it needed a new head, you've just addressed the symptom, not the underlying problem.
At the very least, pay someone to find out what's wrong and then do your own work to fix it...that's what I would do. I would not expose a head I just bought to the same situation that caused the old one to warp.
