wheel adapter's

any one running wheel adapters I'm considering running one inch ones to be able to run 4/100 wheels on my wagon any one done this or should I run diff thickness on them ......need your input thanks :)

Keep in mind that the width of the adapter will reduce the wheel offset. A one inch adapter will reduce offset 25.4mm. For example a wheel with a 49mm offfset will become the equivalent of approximately a 24mm one. That's more than enough to create a rubbing issue (tire on fender lip). That amount of change in the offset can also change the amount of loading on the wheel bearings and accelerate bearing wear.

Adapters really are a waste of time and money. Other than the points that geezer pointed out. You would have to get a set custom made. They won't be cheap. And then you gotta try and find a wheel that has the proper offset to work with the adapter. Buy the time you have gone thru all that trouble it would have been easier and cheaper to just buy 4x108 wheels and call it a day.

I would be better and probably cheaper to take your front hubs and drums to a machine shop and have them drill them to 4x100. There is a few people on here who have had it done and a couple who have had them drilled to 5 lug setup.

^very true, I almost did that but ended up finding a set of 4x108 wheels I liked.

4x108 is the suck...
