Where are the 5-speeds????

When I purchased mine there were only two left in the South East. I had the car shipped to me. I'm not sure why car makers don't give us a good supply of manual shifts???

It could be this, combined with the fact that the economy is in the toilet in europe and the expensive exchange rate makes it harder to justify them bringing over units from Germany on the presumption that people didn't want manuals (hell even it turns out that 10% instead of the 5% that was predicted for 2012 were manuals that's still twice as many as planned for).

Obviously the more manuals available the better it is for those who want them.

5-speed became a no-cost option on the titanium in the US part-way through the model year.

Early build 2012 models were not available as a Titanium with a 5MT, however after Job 2 builds started (initially 3/5/12, but not fully implemented until nearer to 4/10/12 or later) the Titanium was made available with a 5 speed manual as a no cost (no credit either) option instead of the DCT, so basically you were still paying the same price in the states, as a Ti with the DCT, but have the choice to row your own with all the toys on top of it.

Now for 2013 MY the S, SE, and Ti are available from day one with the 5MT.

Here in Canada a manual Ti gives you a $1000 credit.
