The drive-by-wire has been thought to be part of the problem. Someone mentioned months ago that it is a known problem on some Ford trucks and that the re-cal procedure was very simple and made throttle response much better. He said he was going to try it on the Focus and that was the last I heard of it-no confirmation as to whether it did or did not work
 I agree with the tuning support, or lack thereof. What a load of crap. I personally feel that Ford has held back all of the aftermarket tuners in an effort to try and boost ST sales, but that is strictly my opinion.
