They sure look like they might work to me. For about 10 bucks it's a no-brainer. Thanks for that. Ford fumbles on first down and goal and guess who picks up the ball?

My story has a happy ending. I ordered the pedals for my Ti DCT (2 pedals) off the link to eBay SkyPilot provided above. They were less than $10. I got the order today in less than a week from Hong Kong. The covers fit perfectly. I have to hand it to the Chinese. They are fast off the mark. Ford left a big hole and someone in Hong Kong filled it in a flash. Ford seems to have figured out that the next big thing is small cars like the Focus loaded with big car options. But then they made it really hard for people like me to hand them my money by making option packages hard to figure out. Then after I dropped $35K on the car they offer few options preferring instead to cater to truck owners. What a great marketing strategy - make the consumer work hard to spend money then finally go somewhere else.

I got the dead pedal from the same seller, and quality is crappy. It showed up in 2 pieces (aluminum cutout, and rubber base) the aluminum cutout had a bunch of rough edges. the quality just isnt there. just fyi

thats how these come too (rubber pedal cover, aluminum cover with holes and tabs), I mean for 20 you cant really beat it, hopefully they last if they done ill order the real Alloy pedal Replacements, and the dead pedal Id probly epoxy the rubber to the aluminum piece, then use some Industrail Velcro on the back to stick onto stock carpet.

Does the dead pedal have the same details as the other pedals? If so, do you have the link for it? It shouldn't be hard to take the rough edges off it.

I am happy with my DCT pedals. I made my own dead pedal out of 1/8" aluminum for $10. I would have gladly bought a Ford set. But they don't list one in their accessories.

BTW, 2" Velcro locks the dead pedal to the carpet.

Mine works great. I took the rubber pads off of my 2001 Focus ZX-3 because I like the feel of metal better. I actually find rubber slippier than metal.

the rough edges are not on the outside of the pedal but in the cutout areas. Its the closest match to the "RS" pedals we have
