Hmm, I am wondering if I should have my car checked out for seal leaks, just in case.... just to be sure.

I just contacted Crystal after having the worst performance out of my transmission this morning since I've owned the car. I'm just shy of 14,000 miles, and the transmission in this thing is worthless. Constant shuddering between first-second-third. I had the transmission update applied a while ago, it improved for a short amount of time, and went back to shuddering. A did take it into the dealer not that long ago, only to be told that the behavior was normal. NORMAL!? If that is normal, Ford should have never released the car.

I'm hoping that contacting Crystal will help with a resolution, as I've been reading this thread and see that new issues with the DCT have come to light, and that replacement of certain parts may fix the issue.

I know this routine. Hopefully, Crystal can help get your dealer to do the right thing. The shuddering is NOT normal.

Something, IDK what, also just started to make a rattle sound in a certain gear during acceleration. I've never heard this before. YouTube video forthcoming.

When I am driving and stopped on a hill and go forward the ABS definitely is controlling the brake pedal, as when I release it, it releases a few miroseconds after me and I can feel it in while I am releasing the brake pedal. Anybody else notice these changes after having the update done.???
Mine does that since new. After the update kept doing it but less noticeable.

I've had grinding/rattling/shaking in my TI sedan getting steadily worse since new (June-12). I had the update last spring. Given the many posts here on this issues it's obvious that the shifting mechanism in these cars if flawed.

I brought it to my dealer last week to address the issues. Though the minimal grinding occurred (wouldn't you know it - normally it was a lot) when I took a drive with the tech, he knew exactly what I was describing (probably from other customers as well) and recommended my clutch assembly be replaced. They replaced it under warranty this week and so far the car drives better than it ever did with quiet smooth shifts. I'll report again after more milage.

I'm very happy with my dealer for supporting me on this with no begging required on my part
