Yea i was stopped and the car slammed into me pushing me into the car inf ront. 405 fwy always in traffic. yea going to have to get a new clear bra insurance should cover that too though. Should i go through her insurence any benefit to that? or just use mine? i have full coverage.

I was rear ended once while waiting for a light in Delaware. A car 4 behind me didn't see the red light nor all the cars waiting and smacked into the last in line and one by one we were all shoved forward. No serious injuries and thankfully minor damage to my (then) new car (not the focus). The point im making is that about 1/2 of the damaged vehicles were out of state, one was out of country (quebec), and i know my ins. co. paid in full then collected from the culprit w/o any charges to me.

Get your car fixed, then have your insurance go after hers for the money.

Just got off the phone with the other persons insurance they are handling all the costs giving me a rental as well. Also i don't have to pay my insurance deductible since i am going through their insurance instead of mine.. so far sounds good to me..

If you have/know a good bodyshop go there don't let them just force you into cheapest one. Might be a good time to see if you can make any changes to some of the part orders (if that were to happen to me god forbid I'm looking into ordering Titanium lights instead of my se ones).

whats the difference in lights? also think i can get a front bump with sensors? instead on one without? my rear already has sensors on it. The body shop i went to got all good reviews and id ropped it off prior to speaking with insurance company which is nice.

The S/SE/SEL lamps were the aluminum housings and cost more for the original parts than the black lined Ti ones, but the aftermarket ones the insurance company may try and pay for are anyone's guess.

As to parts upgrades if you're willing to pay for them and or if the insurance company didn't know what was there then possibly, otherwise no it would have to be restored to stock.

any idea what it would run to add the sensors to front bumper? just curious id assume labor would be included in insurance claim maybe just pay for parts?
