I have to Kuda mount, the picture on their site is really the same thing I could show ya. you can put just about any kind of universal mount on it to fit your needs.

And for whats its worth I have one on my 04 as well, had it going on 6 years now and LOTS of use, still looks and fits great. If your willing to spend the extra money you wont be disappointed.

Thanks for replying! I have a few more questions.

When you say any kind of universal mount, is that the mounts they have on the website? Some of them are pretty pricey. Did you use your own and adapted it to the mount itself?

Do you use a phone or a GPS with the mount? Can you reach it easily if you have to change something on the display? The pictures look like it's too low to reach compared to the Proclip.

I've just seen lots of pictures of the Proclip here on this thread. As for the Kuda, there isn't much aside from the one on the website. It would be great to see how people haven't been using the Kuda mount for different applications.

I use just the standard mount they have on their site. But the Kuda Base itself provides a large area to mount things to. anything that mounts to a flat surface will mount to a kuda base. I use it for my phone, the reach for me is just right. I have a 5 speed and its just a little beyond reaching for 5th gear. Also the base doesnt get in the way of the shifter either. The black leather its wrapped in is almost a perfect match to the black dash. Ive had people ask if it came from the factory that way.

Hey guys. Im looking to buy the ProClip center mount, but im trying to avoid also buying the ProClip iphone holder. Im from Canada, and with the 2 mounts+S&H+tax its gonna run me over $100 which is a little more than i want to spend on a clip.

Is there a cheaper option for the phone holder? I've searched around, but havent been able to find anything decent. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thx

I agree with you about the price, it is a little ridiculous to pay so much money for a holder. Now that I have it and I have the side mounted one, I can see why it costs so much. The design and construction of it is extremely good and I am beyond happy with the purchase. You could purchase a cheaper one, but you won't find one that fits so perfectly for our cars.

You do get what you pay for. A lesser mount would be just that, less. Might not be enough in that case. This mount delivers.

Unfortunately i think your right. I know ill be happy with it after a few weeks of use, its just committing to it, and hitting the buy button and dropping $100 on a clip. But i guess it saves me the trouble of going through a few cheap crap clips before deciding to go with the real deal. Thanks for making me realize that! haha

Hey guys, I just wanted to give those of you still looking for a phone mount a heads up about a company called Panavise. I have spoken with them about a mount for our vehicles and they say one is in the works. I have emailed back and forth with them a couple times and they expect to see one out by December or January. I have read that combining a Panavise InDash mounting bracket with a device specific mount from Proclip gives you a great setup and that's what I plan to do as soon as Panavise releases a bracket for the 2012+ Focus.

Pro-Fit and Braketron make similar mounts. Lot's of options out there.
