Who's running poly motor & trans mounts?
I'm thinking of getting a set of Sure Motorsport mounts. I was just looking for some input, if it was really worth it or not. Some of the write ups are saying it reduces wheel hop or axle tramp. I already have a vf engineering dogbone which helps a lot. I know they will add a little more vibes at idle. The Sure motorsports trans mount takes the verticle bolt & puts it in to a horizontal plane, which I'd say is a better design.

Not necessarily. A verticle bolt spreads stress across the entire length of bolt, the design they have there would try to shear bolt in two sideways which is easier to do. Although there are two points of real support, the plate edges mean there is a sharp concentration of stress in a very small area. Not good.
Pulling a bolt in two is never as easy as breaking it in two. |
