Changing the Radio
Can I change the radio and still use the remote on the steering wheel?
Also can I install a model from say MK2 and install? |

Some aftermarket radios are compatible with steering wheel controls. Look around and you should be able to find one.

Most middle of the road and up headunit are compatible with steering wheel controls, however, AMOST EVERY ONE OF THEM, will require an additional adapter or harness.
