So my friend welded the glass pack into my exhaust last night. Sounds pretty good, took all the raspiness out of it. It's not that loud at all now but still authoritative.

Hey TX Peeps ... do you guys remember my Power Steering Pressure Line keeps breaking ... well I finally got a logical answer from a mechanic.

Come to find out, I have 2 flaws in my issue.

1 - When putting in the power steering pressure line on the focus, there is a little holder that keeps the line in place to the pump, well, that broke on my original line. So, with out that holder. The line would pressurize and bump the line left or right from the pressure. And without the holder it eventually just snapped the connection between the pump and line.

2 - I bought my last 2 lines from AutoZone and O'Reilly. Well, both of them have their own brands. Duralast (AutoZone) and Master Pro (O'Reilly). On this particular item, they are made cheap because they are made fast. And the people who created this don't pay attention to correct Welding and heat used to form the steel in these products and hence already creating a weak set from the start and guarantee to fail in the future. Crazy and disappointing at the same time. Not to say that all of the products are bad, just to say that is what we came down to.

The Ford Line and Gates Line (Rock Auto Sales) are both created with more concern of the quality than of the quantity, so their lines are created much stronger than these 2. So, I ordered a Gates one, because Ford no longer carries the SVT Line anymore.

Ray, that is good to know because when we did travis's header swap, we used a autozone line.
I think he has the holder pieces, though.
Still not a quality product.

Yeah ... just found out. And good that he has the Bracket ... I have to make mine. Because they no longer have them for the SVT.

Hey All,
Just moved to Webster from Phenix City, Alabama. Nice to see such a big Focus group. Have a 2002 ZX3 and 2007 ZX3 SES. Have not found any salvage yards that even have ZX3 parts. Can anyone tell me what is available in the Houston area? Would like to get some nice wheels for my 02. 16" preferably. Need a hood and front bumper cover as well. The 02 has no back seat and I plan on leaving it that way. Going for the V-8 swap in that car. About to do the Fsworks stage 2 turbo on the 07.

Since the city is so spread out haven't even tried looking at a salvage yard myself. A couple others have I think. Pickings might be super slim. Of course I still have my totaled out 2000 Kona zx3 n my driveway.

So, apparently the person(ADUCARAB)selling the Rieger bumper on FJ just got suspended for shady practices. He also just repopped up on ff as "dylde" trying to sell the same bumper using this different user name and giving some bs story about getting the bumper from Aducarab. Luckily I found about it from a couple others on here b4 I spent any money. Thanks Lou and Fletch.

After all this I've decided as much as I really like/love the Rieger euro front bumper I don't want to pay $800-$850 for one whichbis what it would've cost from the seller or to have shipped over from europe. Think i'll go back to my original plan and get the ProDTM and use the extra $$$ to either get it painted or buy something else......hehehe.
