My PS3s had less than 4k miles on them so I traded them in at the tire shop. They gave me about $85 each for them.

So you have plenty of tread left at ~27k miles Praton? I'm at 29k miles and have had two different mechanics tell me I need new tires yesterday.

Maybe "plenty" was an exaggeration, but I guess I can take a picture if you want? Though, I did notice yesterday in the rain I could spin my tires easier than usual...

I think 30-40k will be when they need replacement depending on driving conditions, so at 29k you probably do need to have them replaced.

Can't you just tell yourself by looking at the wear bars or doing the good ol' penny test?

I have just over 20k on mine and the dealer says that they are at 5/32". Assuming that they started at 11/32", they should get to 2/32" at about 30k. I would be pretty happy with that because I assumed that the tires would be worn out at about 20k

VectorZ, do you notice any difference in your mileage with those tires compared to the PS3s?

I haven't been through a tank of gas so far, in fact not even a half tank, but so far it seems about the same or slightly less. I'll watch my mpgs and let you know.
