Fuel Gauge and Pulley Noise

Bought an ST2 off the lot on Saturday and as of last night the fuel gauge is stuck on full. Read about 2012 Focus fuel gauge issues and people getting entire fuel tank assemblies replaced and I'm not excited about maybe having to go down that path. I've also noticed a constant noise coming from one of the engine pulleys (thinking crankshaft), that gets louder with speed. I can hear it with the windows down. It isn't a loud warble like a really shot bearing, but more of an unoiled bicycle chain noise. Anyone else run into these issues yet (or any others)?

I traded a 2011 Grand Cherokee that had several nagging issues, and was hoping I'd be done with stuff like this...
