That's what I had and people said that they didn't work leaked real bad. The plastic ones are doing good no issues. Let me know if they work for you cause I'd switch mine out for the others I have. I believe I got them from the same store. Here is the ones I have.

i see why they leak, they are not flared enough and the outer id is a bit smaller than the inner id of the plastic tee. There is another brand called Apollo that im going to get and do more comparisons. It seems to have more pronounced flares for sealing.

Good deal let us know. I know I'd rather have metal for sure.

Well this is what i have so far, The Pex tee has a smaller outer diameter so the hose has to be tighter thus the leaking others were getting. The Napa tee is the best fit but, doesn't have the longevity being plastic. The next solution is the Apollo tee from Lowes. The diameter is larger (1")on the ends but its not much bigger than the Napa tee in terms of fitment on the hose.
The hoses used are 3/4 heater hose and a 3/8 hose on the tee.

Well that makes a lot of sense. Off to Lowes I go. Put on a clamp for security and off you go. Let me know how they hold up.

Looks good. That barb style isn't made for rubber hose but plastic. Hopefully they don't leak when put under pressure. You might test that if you can before installing.
