Short Shifter... PLEASE!

Got my ST3 tonight - and it SO needs a short shifter that isn't flimsy like stock. Who's going to tackle this?!

They already have one out for the regular focus, shouldn't be long before they have one for the ST.

I don't find the ST shifter to be flimsy at all. Definitely the most refined factory gear selector I've experienced. And a short shifter has been the first mod on my last 3 cars.

With a JBR RMM, mine has firmed up even a little more. I have been plenty happy with the shifting, it's confidence inspiring while still remaining comfortable for daily driving.

I will pass along the interest in this part to engineering/new parts development.

I'm fairly new to driving manual, but I love the stock shifter, but hey anything can be better right?

Ford Racing is making one. They're still figuring out the pricing though.

The stock throw is actually not bad (I'd like it a little shorter but that's personal preference) - it's the lack of a positive stop when you get into gear that I don't like. It's not bad, don't get me wrong. I just loved the postive stop feel of the adjustable shifter I had in my SVT Focus.
