No CEL but plenty of codes

I have yet to see the CEL light up even though I have read plenty of codes that should set it off (P1518, P0135, P0113, P0116,...). The light works when first turning key on and dash bulb test.

Anybody know what would cause the ECU to not light up CEL. Is this something that can be turned off with a tune?

Yes you can turn off the the CEL light with a tune , not always will a code set a light but I do agree those should be showing a CEL

Do you know that the codes are current? They could just be in there from previous things that are now sorted out, they stay in memory until you clear them. Or your car might already have a tune that's preventing the light from coming on.

I've cleared them and they came back. I corrected some of them, but at no point has the CEL ever came on since I've owed it (except during bulb test).

Was hoping that a tune was loaded preventing the CEL but wasn't sure if that was possible option.
