Thanks for the post!
Don't know about blender noise but what we have experienced can be considered stumbling or hesitation. Not extreme but noticeable in low gears and at low speed. Also, on turns at lower speeds. Both 2013 SE's behave the same. We have noticed that you can modulate the stumbling effect with throttle input. My car has almost 1500 miles and it may be getting better. Again, we'll see.... By the way, we test drove the cars a reasonable distance and they worked fine. I guess the test drive needs to be longer and more effective in changes of speed, gears, etc.

Blender Noise

Sitting here reading about that crummy tranny Ford Stuck in the Focus, Stop It ! I have 6800 miles on my 12 Focus SE Sport and 1 Time around 1500 2000 miles it bucked like a Standard shift as if I wasn,t giving it enough fuel and I just nailed it to the floor. The blamed thing squatted and took off, And thats when I fell in Love with this little car. Oncet you get up there around 3500 mile or so some sure won,t take that long it will smooth out as it use to your driving style. Had a 04 Dakota 4.7 Sport that did the same thing, But back to the Focus, Just a HOOT to drive. And that 2.0 Eco Boost motor is fabulous.

I'm curious to see if there would be any way to modify the DCT to be able to handle more power like the stick shift.

Whaaaaa?????

Anyway, I've got 20,000 miles on mine and it feels like I'm riding a mechanical bull every time I pull away from a stop light. Just because yours works doesn't mean there is no problem with others.

I wish someone (such as cavedog309) would have been in the car with me yesterday. I hit traffic on the highway and let me tell you "tow hitch feeling" is an understatement.

Excessive rattling - including odd numbered gears which almost NEVER happens to me! Tapping the gas would launch the car forward and letting off would engine brake - but somehow much more than usual...?

Got home, took the car out a little later and the clutch would still slip but not nearly as bad as it was on the highway early that day.
