2009 Ford Focus-acceleration flat spot

OK... I am just annoyed with my car and the service I have been getting at the two dealerships I have been going to..

After taking it to a dealer.. over and over again... I just don't know what to do.

Throttle response is pathetic in my 09. The problem occurs off the line but most of all... at yield signs. When I slow down to a yield sign... and then get back on the throttle... there is nothing... no response.. just a long flat spot. If I push the throttle down far enough... the RPM's flare but the car still doesn't really move. Its like stuck in slow motion. Its even worse in the mornings when the car is cold. The dealership near me has reset my computer multiple times and reset the computer learning curve.

I am so sick of it. I keep telling them about it and they say "That's just how this car is..." but I cannot accept this answer. I have driven other loaner Focus's from various year... 08/09/10/11's and none of them run like my car does. I have even taken them for a ride in their own car and then they say "You can't compare this car to yours." I'm like "Oh I can't because I just did... and THIS is how I want my car to drive."

I am just sick of the entire dealer experience. On a side note... I had complained about my steering feeling funny... they kept saying "It's in spec... its in spec." So get this.. I take it to an actual suspension shop.. because let's face it.. the steering and suspension isn't in warranty anymore... and the suspension shop says.. "Your toe-in is all off... its even worse when someone sits int he car... this is why the inside of the tires are all worn out..." Now the car drives much better... yet they said.. "It's in Spec.. its in Spec..." even though it wasn't in spec! I'VE ASKED TWO DEALERSHIPS FOR AN ALIGNMENT AND THEY BOTH SAID IT DIDN'T NEED ONE!

I've even contacted customer service in this website and they acted as the middle man between me and the dealer and eventually the customer service agent sounds like the same broken record.

I am sick of it of it all... completely sick of being jerked around and how dealerships are all denying me accurate service. None of them give me a good reason to keep buying Ford. I bought a Ford because they didn't take a bail out but they refuse to take me and my needs seriously. I NEED my car to run and drive like a well oiled machine. So many times I have taken the car to the dealerships and they've put me in a rental car and had it for 5 days yet they give it back to me and say "nothing is wrong with it." After my alignment issue had been remedied by a 3rd party... its clear to me that NONE of them have really listened to me or tried hard enough to figure out my problem. Now I have worn out tires that I HAVE TO REPLACE!
