iPod Track info diaplay
Hey Guys
I just got a new iPod and when i plugged it into MFT it showed up and indexed just fine but it is displaying genre and album name not song title & artist. I know in old MFT (v2.x) there was an option to change this. Does anyone know how to do this in version 3?

When I plug in my old ipod or a BT device it shows title/artist. So it seems to be device related.

Any ideas?

As far as I know, you can't anymore. An Edge owner was having the same problem and never got any resolution:

What model was the old iPod? What model is the new iPod?

The new one was a 6th gen (the watch) my old one was a 5th gen (the one with a camera). The weird thing is when I plugged in the old iPod it wouldn't display the song tittle and more either.

I think a master reset will be happening today.

SyncMyiTunes takes a slash and burn approach to bad metadata but still does work. Might want to run both to be safe.

This might not even be a metadata thing though. Sounds odd. Especially if it worked before.

My MFT displays artist and song with a ipod touch 2nd gen latest software
I have 3.0.2 though

Ya I have used sync my iTunes, and my old iPod worked fine for over a year. It was when I switched to the new one with the same library that it changed.

I'm assuming when you go into "More Info" all tag info is showing up and showing up under the proper field?
