Shift points?
I noticed there is a huge power loss at 5k, so I figured a good shift point
Is 4800 before the power drops? (that's the shift point on the mazdaspeed) |

If its similar to the Mazdaspeed3= short shift & let the grunt pull you thru the corner= don't down shift. I believe this is result of direct injection.

Try 5500, because I found that it will put you in the meat of the power curve vs revving it higher and putting you at the top only to run out.
