03 zx3 power windows

hi my name is Nate i own a 03 focus zx3 and it has manual windows and no powered locks im about to go to the junk yard and pick up most of the things i need to upgrade to pw and pl. I wanted to know wht all i needed to do to install this and how hard it would be to do at home. Any help would be apreciated.

It'll probably get fairly involved, you will have no fuse positions most likely in the cockpit fuse box, they don't wire them to save money on harnesses. I just did only my driver (window only, had locks) and couldn't find outlet plugs to plug harness in I got at the yard. I had to custom wire it in. You'll find you will need far more parts than you think............

You should probably know that manual regulators last forever but the electric ones have a tendency to shell out from time to time because the motor simply stops by hitting solid up or down. The regulators are not very strong and break parts doing that.

Well I had pw pl in my zts and I miss them and I guess wiring them up to the fuse box wouldnt be to hard I just need to see how it was all hooked up on one b4 I take everything out

I have a 2002 zx3 and Im planing on doing the same thing as you did I already got everything from the junkyard but I would like to know how everything work out for you and if you had to make any changes or add anything
