I found it here yesterday, but that page reads different today. I'm not sure exactly what it is. I kind of just stumbled upon it.

My clock is fine, but my calendar is one day ahead of reality. The Calendar is set by GPS, and cannot be adjusted. Even non-Nav MFTs have an active GPS sensor.

The fix for the calendar was to reboot the GPS by disconnecting the battery cable for 5 minutes while outside facing south.

I was having this same problem about once a week. Just realized that I have not had to reset the time in over a month. I have MFT but no nav.

I just wanted to jump in and say we're aware of this concern and our engineers are working on a solution. I don't have an ETA for the next update, but announcements will be made here:

In the meantime, if you're experiencing this concern and your vehicle is equipped with navigation, please make sure your GPS Time Synchronization is set to ON. To check, press the clock and select ON next to the GPS TIME SYNCHRONIZATION field.

If your Focus doesn't have navigation, I recommend contacting your dealership service department; please do not attempt to disconnect the battery cable.

BTW, in case you haven't heard, the Outside Air Temperature Display is coming back to the main screen on the next update! (I'm pretty pumped! )

Look like the update came out last week, then was pulled a day or two later. So back to waiting for the update again. If you go to sync message board you can get a little more info on the subject. Looks like Ford is dagling a carrot.

The update does not apply to the Focus or the Escape. It was never put up there for either of these models. It was put up for other models and removed shortly thereafter. It was then put up again. We just don't see it under "Sync Updates" at SMR because it does not apply to us. Owners of other models will see it.

Yes, I had a conversation with the sync person on it, I still don't understand why the fix is good for one model and not another one. That just baffles me. But, I will wait and pray that when I do get the update it addresses all the issues and not just a few. I'm sure there is a reason behide it, but as long as people have waited, seems like they would explain why its not for all of us. Oh well.

Someone over at SMR started a thread for those to report what they find after installing the update. Unfortunately, it looks like, from what people posted, that it did not address anything other than the 4-5 things they listed as part of the update. Of course, I don't have it but from what they are saying, not much. Still some of the same bugs there.

It's beyond me why this car doesn't have an autoset clock. All the MFT models have a GPS receiver that gives time, regardless of navi, Sirius that gives time, and the RDS that gives time. It's like the designers intentionally left it out.

I was there under Sync Updates for my Focus for a day or two and then it was pulled

There are some who downloaded and installed it but for some it broke their climate functions on the MFT

My climate control stopped working since I updated my Sync about 2 weeks ago. It always says "Climate Off".. pretty annoying.
