black fuse

hey all does anybody know where I can get the black fuse I'm missing one and I can't seem to find one it's for the fan d2

That is not a fuse. It's a diode.

Do not put a fuse in it's place.

Go to Ford and they should be able to get one. I'm not sure of where else to get one.

Salvage yard ? I would also take the batt loose when messing with those diods/fuses

Someone shorted out my AC Diode ( yes that diode ) they are like $20 to $25 each, so I went to Radio Shack and bought the same size diode and soldered it in its place for $2

nice!!! when it shorted out did something happen to your ac.. and that's pretty expensive for a diode hopefully my auto wreckers haven't pulled theres yet..

You can give your local dealership's parts department a call; they'll be able to order the correct part for you. Additionally, you can check out http://www.fordparts.com to order parts yourself.
