Ain't that the truth.lol. It will all get figured out soon enough. Just a word of advice for those out there looking to build your own. Retrace everything you did to the car. Always check over everything after running the car. You still may have issues but at least you can rule a lot out that way. Making it easier to figure out what's going on. And most importantly listen to your tuner.

Hey guy I made today the manifold spacer I took some pics a will upload them tomorrow it was a pita to take of the cossie manifold cause the inyectors were almost seized but nothing I couldnt figure out, I went for a spin and so far so good but it's too cool outside so tomorrow I will take a long cruise to see if the phenolic works

the material is garolite 10 u can get it @ mcmastercarr for like 30 dlls the width is 1/8 the temperature drop drastically i need to get a laser thermometer to see the temperatures but now i can safely touch the manifold after long cruises i have more material to make another 1/8 spacer so i can be a 1/4 total i did put some red rtv to seal

Yeah it's a pita but its really working good maybe I'll add one more spacer ya make it 1/4 of an inch it not that hot but u can still feel it alittle bit

OK time for an update. We've made a lot of progress in the tuning. Getting really close to where it needs to be. Our schedules have a lot to do with it. Every time we make progress, I have to go to school. But we are really close.
Car is doing great. No loose clamps no big leaks. Do have a very tiny leak from the oil pan where I tapped it but literally just a couple drops. I'll take care of that tomorrow before it gets any worse. Wasn't even enough to where it left the pan onto the driveway so not too concerned about it.
Turbo seems to be doing good. No smoke or other issues from it. Haven't put it through too much abuse other than wot for logs but its doing great. As soon as I get some more insight on how it holds up and some numbers from the dyno, I'll do a thread on it. Great spool from the wot runs so its doing its job. Other than that, nothing else to report. Ready to let this thing loose.
