these cars are so impractical if you live anywhere other then a city. And even then if you kill your batery you will not get home unless you call for a tow truck. they take like 10 hours to recharge.

Not with the speedy charging stations. Those things take somewhere around 2 hours to charge it to like, 80%... I am pretty sure the wall charger would take 10+ hours..

still 2 hours!! thats crazy. we would go from being able to pull into a station and leave in minutes to haveing to stay for hours!! I just dont see it happening unless it is suplemented with gas.

Someday they'll be such that you can take long trips in them and charge when you stop for the day. We're just not there yet....but look how far they've come. I'm just thankful they're making them beautiful, normal-looking cars instead of making them look like a Prius.

They have two different wall chargers for electrics; the standard 110 and then you can opt for the larger appliance style 240.

might take 10 hours at the 110 or 4 hours at the 240 to acheive a full charge. Not that i would ever justify the cost of an electric to drive/own myself, i could use it for most of my daily driving. I have a 5 mile, round-trip, commute to work. If these things get 80 miles out of one charge, I'd be looking at charging once every other week. That be perfectly practical for me to let it charge over night twice a month. Tesla/Fiskar both make some nice looking cars.

They have one on display at Oakbrook Mall here in Chicago, I sat in it tbh it was awesome. Car feels like a 250,xxx and its 1/4 of that.
