Confirmation that 13 Ti had interior led's

On my 12 SEL the 4 interior dome lights are LED as is the 3rd brake light and the license plate light

My 2012 SE Sedan with the Sirius and convenience packages has LED lights in the ceiling; I don't have a moon roof in mine for the record.

So the consensus is that the 2013's all use LEDs like the 2012's...the bulbs may just have a warmer color temperature?

No, its not consistent as to which cars got the LEDs and which cars got the bulbs. It seems random so far. We have several 2013s without LEDs same as we have 2012s that were supposed to have them but did not and used the incandescent bulbs instead.

Doesn't that mean there would have to be two versions of the owner's manual in print at all times? Or that two different part numbers (one for each type of bulb) would need to be printed in each manual?

Is that the case? (I don't own a Focus (yet!) so I can't check...)

There were five revisions to the 2012 Focus Owner's guide. None of which mentioned a dome lamp bulb, where as the first version of the 2013 owners manual specified the bulb as an h5w incandescent.

The 2012 manual never calls out a replacement bulb, but my Job 2 SEL built 4/23/12 has the incandescent bulbs. So no its not consistent, and the only way to know for sure is to look at the housings and possibly remove them to check for a diode vs a bulb.

I confirmed I DO have LEDs in my '13. They are just a significantly less white color than the ones offered in the '12s. When I get to feeling better I'll post a pic for comparison purposes.

I got my Titanium yesterday
As far as I can tell I have LEDs they're just not pure white LEDs

I left them on for a bit and they didn't get warm

Compare them to your vanity mirror. That was the "seal the deal" moment for me to determine they were indeed LEDs.

Again, the tint of LEDs will vary car to car (LED production run to LED production run), not model year to model year.

Even the tint of my three dome lights don't exactly match.
