Corolla's, Forte's, and Civics have less power than the Focus. The Civic and Corolla especially I believe are also low-torque engines, they wouldn't be affected by torque steer nearly at all.
That said, I certainly don't have any pulling issues, mine is a June 2011 build, never had the steering rack replaced.

Unless it just doesn't bother me and I don't notice it, I don't have any trouble holding a line on the highway, minor adjustments to straighten out occasionally (can't ever be perfectly straight) but no issues like others have stated where the car actually wanders and the steering rack overcompensates when you try to correct. Guess I got lucky.

Sounds like torque steer is a minor issue compared to the main issues of loose steering and ride hight issues of the OP. We all know about the torque steering by now. Excessive steer, wandering and looseness is the issue. I hope both guys and others find a resolution and share with us the results soon.

Wasn't there a known issue with cars with messed up shocks in early production? I can't imagine "this is how the car is designed."
If your car is actually unlevel, I presume the car will try to use whatever feature that is that counter-steers steady side winds / the crown of the road. And then you'll just have a boatload of issues. No? EDIT: But if it's not a broken strut, shock, or mount... I'm out of ideas.

These cars definitely experience low-speed torque steer under acceleration, which is annoying. And the electric power steering does not offer the best feedback (I really wish my 2012's steering felt more like my 2005 ZX3's), however it sounds like those of you who've had your steering racks replaced -- and have posted your complaints in this thread -- are experiencing something that is not right. Maybe it's the new rack or the way the new rack was installed. I would take it back to the dealer and get them to find the problem.
