this one is a friend's in KC. he cut out where the focus lettering is and put clear plexi behind it and then we installed some led running lights behind it.

and yes, with the krylon fusion all you have to do is just clean them with some soapy water (get and crap off it) and then paint. will come out a kind of satin finish and you can clear coat it it you want more gloss.

Now that is sexy lol. I think I'm gonna tape off the parts that are already black and use krylon red pepper and some clear coat on the chrome areas

Found you a how to guide on it. It is a little bit of work and a TON of screws to take all the radio temp control etc stuff out to paint it but it does look a ton better. Also the right side molding's screw is under it someplace and you have to pull the glove box down in order to get to it.

That looks great, I'm gonna tape off the black parts and paint the chrome a red pepper color with maybe one coat of clear coat. Gonna be a next weekend though. I'll post pics of before and after.

Just got some new shoes today, Montegi Traklite. Tires have a bit more left in them but I plan on running what's left off before I throw my winter tires on. After winter I will replace the wheels on them with some Continental DWS's. Absolutely no curb rash, just a few chips, guy said he had 20,000 miles on them before the motor blew. Paid $300 bucks for everything.... Did I get a good deal?

Oh jeez ^^^ Going to need a drop with these rims or they don't look that great. I had to do a test fit, the acorn lugs were a bit too large so I am going to have to get some tuner lugs. I am thinking the black closed end..... Thoughts?

agreed but the tire size is 205/50/16

I how big of a difference a 205/65/16 will make but hopefully it takes up some of dat gap. Plus being able to easily lift these with 1 hand because they are so light is a huge plus, the more weight you can take off below the suspension the better!

just be careful though. less weight on your wheels can also mean that they aren't as strong and easier to bend or break in the winter up there. Motegi does make some nice stuff though so you may be fine, just just a heads up for ya in case. some extra rubber on there would def look better and help with the ride and wheel protection.

Oh I got winters covered... Meet my other set-o-rims, they are the classic mustang rims... Ugly but effective. Going to wrap them in some winter tires FTW! I don't plan on running the Montegi's in the winter. Thank you for the advice tho, I always appreciate it!
