Tip, if youre going Holset vband, buy a new one for a Holset or, get one with the downpipe/vband clamp. It is not a standard Vband.

i know you can pick up teh elbow on ebay and its a stock dodge piece. that bolts to a two bolt flange after that. and that elbow is around 30 bucks i think...

You will need to get one from Holset/from a store for a Holset. The diameters are the same as every other v band out there but, the flange itself is different. Ive read that its the same one one you will find on a Borg and some PTEs but, I cant say that is true. I just bought a new one from a company who sells aftermarket parts for trucks.

Ok I'm not worried cause the one I think I'm gonna buy it has the 5 bolt to vband but my original down pipe flange design is a 5 bolt oh and is a 7blade :) if some one need more info of the holset turbos heres a link to dsmtuners that has a lot of info

got a buddy in town here who works on turbo's all day rebuilding them. for me its a matter of packaging space. if we can get it in there cose enough to the block i may be good to run

The HX35 and even the HX40, is a very small turbo, space shouldn't be an issue.

This is an HX40, divided T3 16cm2 housing.





Hopefully that gives you an idea of the size of a HX40 which, will help make these make sense.

Left is a HX30 the middle is the HX35 and the right is a HX40.

ok so a bit smaller than a liscense plate and about just as wide. from what ive seen the v band is a 3" i ahve however foudn the exhaust elbow on ebay for about 70 bucks if i need to use it.

I wouldn't get the elbow, you want as much straight pipe out of the turbine housing as possible. The general rule is, 30 diameters before the first bend. Now, we all know that isn't possible but, you still want to get as close to that as you can.
