So far, TSC has improved my driving experience as well. As I stated before, my DCT hasn't had a whole lot of issues, usually it's pretty tame, but the TCS trick has certainly smoothed out shifts and improved throttle response throughout the powerband.

I do have 12b37 applied, and like hotleadsingerguy, before the update my car was smooth as silk and the DCT behaved much better, only after the update have I had any issues.

Oh I forgot to mention, she mentioned at the end of the conversation (after I told her the engineer was incorrect, yet again) that when the dealerships say the car is "Running as expected" it's because the engineering department does know there's an issue with the transmission as it currently is and are working on an update, but as of right now don't have a confirmed timeframe of when it might be available.

So she tried to appease me by saying that "[a fix is in the works]" after telling me that there's no need for a fix because everything is running perfectly.

I'm really not sure why people don't seem to believe Ford is telling the truth...

I agree that it's BS. But, did she say "running as expected", or "running perfectly"? There is a difference...

"Running perfectly" would be a flat out lie. "Running as expected", not so much.

I had 12b37 applied this past Wednesday to fix the car shaking at idle and now I have this issue. I noticed it immediately as soon as I drove away from the dealership. The car no longer shakes when it idles but now I have this issue, trade off I guess.

I would rather have a slightly rough idle if it meant not dealing with a slipping clutch and or tcs system fighting the clutch application so it sounds like a lose - lose situation to me.

Yes hindsight is 20/20 and had I known, I might have weighed the pros and cons a little more and not gone ahead with 127b37, who knows. Sit at the lights feeling the car shake through the brake pedal or feel the car shake when you take off from the lights, which is more tolerable.

Since the idle shake is nominal and normal for a four cylinder direct injected engine It would be preferable (they try to mask it with softer engine mounts, but its still not sufficient) vs a shuddering feeling when trying to accelerate from a stop.

My Veloster also has this 'shudder' at low speeds or when stopped.

I'm hardly shocked by it, its just what it is.

VWs with the DSG are a bit smoother but you can still tell.

I would trade any kind of shudder over the lack of responsiveness or lack of power with my car. I can deal with some shudder, it's no big deal for me...but man, I want the damm thing to move when I press the gaz pedal and get rid of the ridiculous over revving and lard ass lag.

I tried the T/C trick 3 night in a row and its not just doing anything for me. Am I to understand that the lack of power I have ''could'' be a contaminated tranny? My driveway is clean and I dont see any kind of oil marks on the ground.

Anyone care to explain this to me in common english so I can relay this info to my dealer...if, he ever wants to see my car....
