There's really not that much thickness, man. I think if you wrapped them the "bumps" from the pillars would still show through. No one ever even notices they are there unless I point it out.

Don't really care so much about the texture showing through. The amount it sticks out doesn't really bother me but I don't like how the rear pillar isn't one piece and I also want to do the door handles and mirrors. While I am at it, I am going to get the heated mirror upgrade and throw them on.

^really good point. It is going to have that "grainy" look even with the vinyl on it. However, the Di-noc is alot thicker and will hide the "grainy" look. I think (but don't hold me to it) that the Di-noc is a different series of vinyl wrap. I haven't really researched it much.

For application you just peel and stick. Use a heat gun to shrink it if needed and use a razor blade to trim any access.

I would use the Di noc but I don't want to carbon fiber the pillars. Gloss black would match my front end darkness much better (IMO). I will probably get some excess on it and use the heat gun regardless to ensure a nice snug fit. I plan on ordering a 12" x 60" chunk off amazon. Time will tell how it works!

I understand, the weird puzzle piece rear cover bothers me sometimes too, oh well.
