If I wagon were available, that's what I would have bought. My wife would have refused to ride with me, but I love wagons and I could have hauled so much more stuff. I have to angle my acoustic guitar case just right to get it in the back of my hatch, and I can forget about trying to take a bass anywhere with my car.

Norwegians has always been suckers for wagons, but only because it is practical cars.
No one showed of their wagons until 4-5 years ago, when - me included - started to gently modify these vehicles.
Why drive something stock, when it can be looking so much better with just a few mods..?

I also used to have a Honda Accord Wagon, and the cargospace in the Ford Focus is way better.

And the best af all, the milage you can get out of these cars are superior to most SUVs.

This is one of the reasons I think the Focus wagon would be a success in the US. Many Americans are trading in their gas guzzling SUVs for more fuel efficient vehicles.

I traded in a perfectly good Nissan pickup that I was very happy with simply because it was getting too expensive to feed.

Mine manages about 48mpg (4,9 literes per 10k) and that is wit an diesel engine that produces about 302 pound-force (410nm).

With hard driving in the wintertime, with every systems active I have not been able to go any less than 38mpg.

I think this is respecible numbers.

Factory lowering? Very interesting....

Had we had this as an option, I'd be debating between it and the sedan. So pretty.
