so basically its positioning the mount like an inch higher than stock? and it improves the feel of shifting?

Yep, the higher you go the shorter the shift.

I'm bout to try this out rite now. But I don't see Wat I have to cut. I don't have a red thingy on the inside mines is a spring. Wit two Blk tabs on booths sides that connects the piece that lifts up the revs thing.
