I always use the handle and mine will honk if touched twice.

Sorry, I meant to say that I look at the mirror side marker lamps (they will flash when the car is locked).

Looked in the manual and can find no reference to a setting that would change how and when it honks. On my last vehicle I could set it to honk on or off as I wanted.

I personally dislike this feature! The only time I find it useful is locating my car in a parking lot, so basically with the fob only.

It seems like Ford is intent on just changing things that there's no reason to change while leaving things alone that deserve a fix. It seems like they're changing things purely to change them, at this point.
