Mine are wired to an aux + wire that I ran for my fog lights to a switch but you can use any hot wire because the lights have a seperate control module to turn it on or off and to change the color of the light that you have selected(=

Most of those deal with your airbags.. I would HIGHLY suggest AGAINST messing with those in any way. Tap into your headlight switch or a radio wire.

Would you mind posting a link/name of the interior lighting kit? There's nothing on Canadian Amazon :(
Thanks!
