Because its the MK3 section, not strictly the 2012 section. the MK1 was 2000-2007, MK2 2008-2011, and MK3 in the states from 2012 my to present.

I disagree. I'm glad I got a late build '12. Rain sensing wipers, home link, and auto dim mirror are great features. I got a backup camera because the salesperson made a mistake saying the Ti I bought had one, so they put in an aftermarket NavTV one for free.

Only thing missing for me is remote start, but I can add that while I could add the features missing from the '13.

You're missing a couple of other features that they added to the '13 not found in the '12s.

-Updated cup holders
-Added hatch release
-Auto-dimming mirrors were faulty, hence their removal.

To name a few. I will say though that Homelink would have been awesome...I'm still working with the dealer to get one installed.

And I'll take a factory installed backup camera over a aftermarket anyday.

Strange my cup holders seem to hold cups just fine! As well the mirror works just like the one in my last car (although the old car had auto dimming side mirrors as well and they were the tits!)

Don't know what the big deal to the hatch release is, the button over the license plate works fine so that's a wash.

The backup camera works through MFT fine, I don't have trajectory lines though, but don't miss them either.

I would miss the rain sensing wipers to the most. Don't understand the complaints, they work as I would expect them to.

Like I said the features missing from the '12 that are in the '13 i can add other than a truck release, while you can't add some of the things from the '12 to the '13.

The only trouble with the TI is you are stuck getting the My Ford Touch. The system is going to be totally revamped for the 2014 model year with a different screen and software according NCD mag. Parts of the new programming will show up in the new 2013fusion.

None of it is a big deal. Just nice perks. Not to mention that my '13 cost me $900 less with more in it.

The cupholders for '13 have rubber inserts that keep whatever is in the cupholders in place, which I understand, was an issue in '12s.

And as you've added the aftermarket camera, '13 owners can add, after the fact, both the Homelink and the rain-sensing wipers.

Either way, I'm happy, you're happy, we're all happy!

I don't think anyone mentioned the mood lighting or side indicators (turn signals in side mirrors).

My 2012 SEL has rubber inserts in the front cupholders. And I will say that I love the ambient lighting. And IMO nobody (unless they live where it is very cold) should buy one of these cars without a moonroof.
