Source needed for 2.3 Oil Pan Gasket
Hey,I am looking to do the ST 2.3 balance shaft delete (Cosworth) and need to know where to get a new oil pan gasket?
Help appreciated.

There is no "gasket". You use a Permetex gasket maker to make a bead to seal it to the block.

RTV & use a plastic blade on the block & pan= you don't want to nick the surface. Take your time= don't hustle it. Also be prepared for the balance shaft's weight, it was heavier then I thought. It's well worth it. Enjoy the freer revving motor.

Did You notice a lot more vibration with the BSD?
Is anyone running the BSD with aftermarket mounts or cams?

yes there is some vibes at idle only= but its well worth it.

I have a set of crane cam's, udp's, fwerks header, & a vf engineering dogbone. So w/ those mods on the motor, yes they is some vibes at idle only & it's totalley no issue at all. It's well worth it. And your motor w/ hold anothor 1.5qtrs of oil too. I use a FL842 filter also= shorter then a 400 but has a bigger diameter. Basicy freer up the motor & removes 14lbs of rotating & 18lbs of static weight.

I have less vibration with the BSD and Dogbone mount now. The reason is my upper motor mounts were shot and I didn't know it until I did the BSD and Dogbone...the car shook like hell!! So I changed the upper mounts the next day and the car was quieter and smoother than before.

All good mods though. Enjoy it!

My motor mounts should all be fine,the Car only has 9000 miles on it.
Just worried with the 3/4 Crower cams,BSD and the dog bone mount,its going to vibrate like crazy.
But as much as I drive the Car,it shouldn't be a problem.
The BSD gave noticable gains?
I have read up to 5 HP gains were proven....can this be right?
