Mine was a farad 5 pyle, and worked like a beast, but unfortunatly i busted the bolts that go into it, both of them, and it always beeped so i smashed the shit out of it one day with my hammer, so i need a new one!

Mine is a the one Walmart sells waste of money IMHO, I think caps are a waste and there's a very good video on YouTube about it the guy proves it a waste of money just put the money towards a bigger and better battery and also stated that its bad for your amp, the video to look for Is why capacitors don't work, I would give a link but stupid iPhone won't let me

i got it mainly just to see what kind of difference it would make.
honestly im happy with it, my voltage holds better and longer and the sound is cleaner and deeper.

Indy im guessing it was that micro farad one with the kit for 80$, yea i got that one too a while back. It wasnt bad for my truck i had then, with out that i would suck so much juice from the batt that it would stall the truck. The one i had before smashing it, worked like a beast, i hooked everything up last noght for shits nd giggles, and ill tell you what, i wont he doing that again. It sucked so much power from my brand new battery, i just unhooked everything and said id wait to get another one. Cause before the lights wouldnt even dim when it was hitting my 15, last night i thought it was going to kill my battery. Imho they work and depending on the brand they work very well

i always enjoy the policio's expressions when seeing mine , its always a cool reaction. mines a cheapo from walmart also but i painted it flat black so it looks like a big ol pipe bomb with the digi-display lol.

I have not use for one. I'd rather spend the $$ on a bigger alternator or, an AGM battery.

Or, maybe suitable gauge wiring.

I do not run them , I agree with freemind, They are a waste of money, I prefer the capacity of a AGM battery. In a pure SPL car sure a cap will be amazing, but they discharge so quick they are only good for one note. For music, the first beat in a song drains them , and your electrical system has to try to recharge it between beats .
