cold air intake
Its getting close to 100K on my 2005 ZX3, I need some advise on replacing the air filter. Considering the AEM brand ... any suggestions?

Yeah aem is good because they use dry flow technology, are you stock? Aem however does not sell stock replacement filters only k&n does.

No replacements for cars with lifetime filters. Better to just get a SRI or CAI and call it a day.

How the original stayed clean enough to supply an ample amount of air is unknown to me. I want to change to an aftermarket brand but not sure which kind to purchase. Certainly would be nice to have more power off the line. One concern is the increase in noise. I will most likely be driving the car at least 3 more years and would hate to be driving in and out of the neighborhood annoying the neighbors.

I have the aem cai and its been great for about 30k miles, the most you'll have to do is every 15-20k pull the filter off and clean it
