So bad news upon bad news....

The ED bumper is a pos... Simple... Looks nice but without extreme custom work it wont last at all.... The flares are ridiculous and well like its been said when you pull it in with brackets stress fractures pop up at every bend.. My buddy owns a custom shop, one of the top guys here in Chicago. Top in the low rider community.. He was shocked at this bumper. He showed me the different ways to mount and he said bo way will this bumper last... So my solution is either a custom fit or toss it. My car is 80% done so i dont have time to just search for something else.. AFTER WAITING FOR OVER 3 MONTHS FOR THIS BUMPER. So he recommends we cut the bumper in 3 spots and use a flex material to sit the bumper flush with the fenders. Like it should of came from E.D. A completely custom bumper... For the time I'm in i should of done a wide body conversion... As you can tell I'm extremely upset. And disappointed in ED. I know they state that some modifications may be needed but this is ridiculous and the fact that all you've said is return the product on your vendor page that is not fair... We waited for months we spent hard earned money, and you have failed. You sell faulty cheap products. Sad.

Sigh... Yeah.. I just don't have the time or money to have another bumper bought... I like the e-spec and st-170 but that will be another 500 plus i still wld need it painted.. My car is 80% done. And i need it back asap. I cant wait... So im going the custom route... Some more money but i cant wait :(

ED should be refunding your money. Whether you use the bumper or not. I'm sure whatever gets done your car will still look sick ;)

Have you checked with Capaldi about a REAL RS bumper?

dude the problem is the real RS bumper is a widebody.. I would have to get fenders, and sideskirts, and if i dont do the rear, it looks funky

I saw one of those for sale in the classifieds section. His was damaged in several places upon delivery. I'm sorry but it's looks to be a waste of money, on your part. I feel sorry for those who got caught up in their ridiculous price for such a poor product.

Like I said in the other thread this sucks Lou. I wanted to get this bumper too. Not anymore. I think ED rushed this and cut corners like leaving out he flex material cuz apparently it don't flex ........without cracking that is. Of course their only response if any will be just return it for a refund. But, you have to pay $150+ to ship it back! Other than that they won't take any responsibility for its lack of quality.

And I was thinking about getting their ProDTM since Pyroinsa had a good experience with it. Not so sure now.

I'm sorry. I haven't read the whole thread yet. By the rear quarter pic above I thought to had installed RS pannels. Just trying to help.
